U.S.S. LIBERATOR - WHAT'S NEW
Stardate 9902.15
I have begun to rethink my decision to move Star Trek : Liberator to GeoCities, mainly due to the negative feedback I have received about the pop-up windows and their watermark. I am still looking for another free server out there that gives me room to expand the site without all the hassles that most of them force you to endure. However, thanks to Kit from the LCARS Centrel webring I may have found just such a server. I'll keep you posted.

The next story, Shattered Time, is proceeding but more slowly than I had anticipated. Perhaps another week or two and I'll have it finished.

Star Trek : Liberator has won a few more awards in the last month. Go to the awards page to see them.

Today I began the long process of moving the Star Trek : Liberator web site to Geocities. The decision to move was not an easy one for me to make since my own internet provider, Internet Partners of America, has treated me very well. However, with more than a million users and 11MB of free space, Geocities has much more to offer. For the time being I will keep the site in its original URL on IPA until I finish moving all of the files and graphics. Afterwords, my IPA site will be a jumping point to my other sites.

The first Star Trek : Liberator story, Reunions and Revelations, has been completed. It took longer than  I had expected but I hope you will be satisfied by the finished product.  Even now, work on the second story,  entitled "Shattered Time" is in progress. I hope to finish that story by mid-February (but please do not hold me to a deadline, I do this for fun).

Star Trek : Liberator has won several awards in the recent past. To see them, visit the awards page. ST:L has also been chosen as the January Deep Space Nine werbring site of the month!. I'm very happy with these honors and thank everyone who has supported and encouraged me to create the best Star Trek experience that I could.

if anyone is interested in contributing to Star Trek : Liberator, through stories, starship information or advise on web page design, please drop me a line at [email protected]. I would be very grateful for any help in these or any other area of the site.

I apologize for not updating this page more often, but for the most part the updates are released through  the Newsletter.  If you are interested in following the voyages of the U.S.S. Liberator,  I encourage you to enter your Email address and subscribe to the liberator newsletter via the link on the main page.

I have almost completed the first Star Trek : Liberator story, entitled "Reunions and Revelations".    I plan on completing this story before Christmas. There is only the final chapter and the epilogue to complete, so with a couple of more nights without sleep and a little luck, I'll finish it.

In the coming months, I will be entering into a partnership with alex thompson, creator of the U.S.S. Argus and Its voyages. I am very excited about these crossovers and hope you will enjoy them.

The seventh fleet pages are coming along, although not a quickly as I would like. If anyone has any information concerning the various starship classes, please email me. you will be given credit for
any and all   information You provide me with.

As you have probably already seen, I have broken down and added java to Star Trek : Liberator. I was not going to  Have any here for two main reasons: 1) I thought that it would slow down the site too much, and 2) I did not know How to write javascripts. However, thanks again to Christopher Gray over at the Star Trek Photo Gallery, who gave Me a template for the javascripts he uses, the site is now powered (or encumbered) by java. I have to admit that it does look cool. Feedback is welcome.

I encourage everyone to go to the  Online Freedom Federation  site and sign their petition to protect  star trek fans From the villany of the paramount and viacom lawyers.   Star trek fans are only expressing the enjoyment they get From the various shows and should not get sued for their efforts. This link can be
accessed from my Links to Other Sites page. This is as much of a soapbox as you will ever see me on. Feedback is welcome.
